“Wistful”

This collection of photography was curated to evoke the mood of wistfulness.

To feel wistful is to feel a vague or regretful longing and to display what resembles a combination of both hopefulness and despair. Moments of wistfulness are sparked when we admire something beautiful that reminds us of something lost or fleeting.

The architectural, landscape, and still-life photos are united by thematic and compositional similarities and are arranged to either repeat or contrast characteristics such as design elements, depth of field, and/or subject matter.
